Our mission is to protect dogs and their caregivers from unqualified, unsafe practices and to build a community that values positive training.

 

At Pluto’s Pet Care + Training Support®️, we are a qualified, professional, and fully regulated team of dog trainers and dog walkers in Brixham, proudly serving local dog guardians 7 days a week (excluding bank holiday weekends, national holidays, and Christmas week).

We provide you with years of hands-on expertise and experience with dogs from a wide variety of backgrounds, behavioural profiles, and physical needs, and pair this with our wide range of industry-recognised qualifications, including:

We are at the forefront of positive, science-backed dog training by regularly completing courses from KAD, PST, DGI and APDTB. We follow the standards set by the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter to ensure the highest level of care.

Who's behind Pluto's Pet Care + Training Support®️?

Stevie FdSc, BSc, KAD-AP, PST-CI

Hi 👋 I'm Stevie and I am the founder Pluto's. I specialise in supporting animals and their caregivers with behavioural & physical additional needs, particularly those that are trauma based.

 

My qualifications include two degrees in BioSciences and Animal Behavioural Sciences. I am a certified trainer for the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, accredited canine trainer for KAD, certified canine instructor for PST and working towards my MSc Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist diploma. I also have several diplomas in canine behaviour and welfare. My work is monitored and regulated by the PPG, APDT, IMDT and KAD.​

 

Away from work, I am mum to Thea + Cody, rescue cats Nero + Smudge, and Percy the rescued African Grey. In my very limited spare time, I love to go on solo adventures in the mountainous regions of Snowdonia, Brecon Beacons and even Iceland - I'm always looking for the next challenge and adventure.

​

I am continuously furthering my studies and knowledge in animal care and welfare. My goal? To support as many caregivers as possible, and to provide a world that all of our dogs can be happy in. Only through continued learning and professional collaboration are we able to achieve this.
