Pluto's Dog Daycare & Education Centre®️

Pluto's is excited to announce a project that first began during the March 2020 lockdown. With Pluto's continued work with pets, especially dogs, we could see a huge need not just for dog day care, but for continued education. The health and welbeing of all our animals is at the heart of what we do, and it was becoming increasingly apparent that there was an ever-growing gap in care and an uprise in aversive trainers, methods and equipment. Hence, after over two years of research and study (and blood, sweat and tears!) we are very proud to announce the opening of our very own day care and education centre.

For those who are already part of the Pluto's family, you will know that we hold ourselves to the highest standards of care. This is continued with the new centre, ensuring your dog is cared for both physically and emotionally. As required by law, we are licenced by Torbay Council and regulated by DEFRA. For our first two years, we can achieve the highest star rating of 3, then afterwards we can apply for the 5 star rating. Our senior members of the team hold a minimum of OFQUAL level 3 canine care and management qualification, with the rest of the team, even volunteers being trained in canine first aid. Your dogs general care and mangement is recorded daily, and when collecting you will have a dedicated team member tell you about their day. For extra peace of mind, the centre has livestream CCTV of which all caregivers will have access to during the day via the app - so you can check in and see how they are doing at any time of day.

During out of hours, the centre is available for professionals and caregivers to use for a number of canine educational progammes - from teaching first aid and behaviour, to agility and puppy training - anything dog related that needs indoor space, our centre is available for you.
